Hi friends! I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this blog and I would really like to incorporate more of my travels, random day trips, and glimpse into my life as a mom and football wife. Would you guys be interested in that? I sure hope so! I promise to still include beauty, style, family, and incorporate food back into here. The pull to make it more personal has been tugging at me for several months.
One of the most personal ways to get to know me is through Snapchat right now. It’s so easy to show little clips of my day, silly little bursts, and random mini-rant or rave sessions. Be sure to add me – AndreaBai – of you haven’t already. Last night, I showed what arrived in my Stitch Fix shipment. I saved the snaps to share here on this post. I’ll be sure to take much nicer pics for the blog next time!
If you don’t know what Stitch Fix is let me fill you in. It’s a personal styling service. You pay $20 each shipment which can be credited towards your purchase. The shipments can be automatically set to your liking or you can request the boxes as you wish. You fill out questionnaires and can give feedback to your stylist regarding your style needs and tastes. They then send you a package of 5 items. Often times you will see pants, tops, and now shoes. Let’s see what I got!
Yes, I took the picture in my kid’s room. They have a better mirror for it!
This is a really fun and unique top. I think the best way to describe it is half-sweatshirt half-blouse. Don’t you think? I personally prefer loose fitting tops but struggle finding ones don’t look like tents with my slightly larger chest. This fit a little big yet I still love it. Keeping it!
I really loved this scalloped top. My only issue was you could clearly see my bra band. Even if I wore a black bra I wouldn’t feel comfortable. I am not a braless kinda girl. I like the support. Too bad because I would have bought this in a heartbeat!
A dress! I gotta tell you..this thing was comfy! My only issue was it hit at a weird part of my leg and wasn’t the most flattering on myself. The print, fit, and comfort were spot on.
These Kut from the Kloth boyfriend jeans were exactly what I needed two weeks ago! I just bought jeans or else I would have purchased these too. The distressing isn’t overdone and perfect with a cute top and flats.
Speaking of flats – these burlap TOMS were also in my Fix. I didn’t find the burlap material to be as comfortable as my other toms. When I wear flats I do it for the comfort and ease. I still can’t decide if I kinda love or kinda hate the burlap. What do you think?
